AUGURE: Uber and Lyft have surpassed the 100,000 mile mark in the United States, surpassing the 100 million mile mark for the first time, the company announced Tuesday.
The companies said in a statement they now have nearly 5.6 million U.S. customers and have raised more than $2 billion in funding.
They also said they have surpassed 10 million Uber and 5.7 million Lyft rides in the U.N.D., a network of Uber-like drivers.
Uber said it is seeing a “record” increase in U.T.A. customers since the company began using the app in early 2016.
The number of Uber and UberX rides is up nearly 5% year over year, the ride-sharing company said.
The company expects to have a full-year 2018 revenue of $4.4 billion.
