California Attorney General: Jeff Rosen, who was previously California Attorney General, is the state’s top lawyer.
Rosen’s office is led by two top prosecutors who have decades of experience in civil, criminal and civil rights.
The office also has a team of attorneys with experience prosecuting sexual assault and stalking cases.
The attorney general’s office handles criminal cases, including homicide, assault and battery, stalking, DUI and drug offenses.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi: This state attorney general was elected by her party in 2016.
Bondi has a reputation for defending the poor and working hard to make it easier for Floridians.
She has successfully fought for Florida’s $4.2 billion in funding for the new Interstate Highway System.
She also was instrumental in getting a $2.2 million tax cut for the state.
Bondis office also represents individuals in wrongful death cases and for child welfare issues.

Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto: Cortez has been a member of the Nevada Legislature for eight years and a member since 2003.
She is the only female attorney general in the country.
She led a lawsuit challenging the federal government’s use of a federal consent decree in Nevada.
The consent decree required the state to adopt policies and procedures to prevent sex trafficking.
Cortez also pushed to end the state of Nevada’s practice of using mandatory minimum sentences for low-level drug crimes.

New Jersey Attorney General John Wisniewski: Wisniewicz’s office has a strong reputation for prosecuting sexual abuse cases, especially when the victim is a child.
Wisnies office is dedicated to protecting the rights of children.
He was instrumental when he helped lead a lawsuit to stop the state from using a mandatory minimum sentence for low level drug crimes, and when he successfully sued to overturn a federal court ruling that allowed a former federal judge to be fired for having a sex with a minor.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman: Schneiderman has been the state attorney for the New York City region since 2006.
He’s an experienced prosecutor with the power to charge the highest-ranking officials of state government.
He won re-election in 2018 and is a strong opponent of sex trafficking and other forms of human trafficking.
Schneiderman also pushed for the repeal of the state budget.
He also has led the fight against the state and federal government from the start of the Zika virus outbreak.

Florida attorney general Pam Bondis: This attorney general is the longest-serving attorney general and is also the first female attorney to be elected to statewide office in Florida.
She spearheaded the effort to repeal the state crime of child pornography and she was instrumental as a member when she worked with her colleagues in the Florida Legislature to pass the “Safe Harbor” law.
Bonds office also helps defend families in child welfare matters.

Nevadas attorney general Adam Putnam: Putnam has been an attorney for more than 30 years and is one of the most prominent criminal defense attorneys in the state, where he represents a wide range of clients.
Putnam won the 2016 election to become attorney general for the entire state.
Putman also has been active on the issues of immigration, immigration enforcement, and protecting the environment.

New Hampshire Attorney General Matthew Shuster: This lawyer has a long history in New Hampshire, which has the third highest number of violent crimes per capita in the nation.
Shuster has led a number of lawsuits in the U.S. Supreme Court that have led to new restrictions on gun rights, voting rights, and more.
Shusters office also works to protect the rights and welfare of New Hampshire residents and their families.

California attorney general Kamala Harris: Harris is the first woman to lead the state in the Senate.
She was elected in 2018 by a wide margin.
Harris has been instrumental in fighting for California’s legalization of recreational marijuana, including passing Senate Bill 11, which allows adult recreational use of marijuana.
